Mandy Banton has an osteopathic clinic in Gosforth, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and uses a wide spectrum of osteopathic approaches, including cranial osteopathy, to help people of all ages, including babies and children. Mandy is a Fellow of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy and recently submitted a doctoral thesis on philosophical, psychological and neurophysiological aspects of embodied communication between osteopaths and their patients.
Mandy combines empathy with a detailed understanding of clinical anatomy in a practice that puts the individual at the centre of the consultation. She is interested in helping people to achieve a greater sense of ease in their life and uses a gentle, enabling approach.
Mandy is registered with the General Osteopathic Council and is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy. Since graduating, from the London School of Osteopathy, Mandy has trained with some of the most experienced cranial and paediatric osteopaths in the country, in London, Edinburgh and Stroud.
Mandy belongs to a network of complementary practitioners, midwives and antenatal and postnatal practitioners called the Newcastle Pregnancy & Baby Centre. For more information, click here: newcastlepregnancyandbabycentre.co.uk
